Abstract (EN)

Globalization, generally refers to the process of mutual relationship and commitment among countries and societies. It puts forward the idea that events or activities taking place somewhere may have certain serious consequences on people or socities in farther places on Earth. As far as the relationship between globalization and religion is concerned, the first and foremost point of attention should be the fact that every religion has global assumptions. That almost all religions have universal arguements and that they call for all people to adopt these arguements are facts which are commonly accepted. From this point of view, religions can make use of the phenomenal benefits of globalization in announcing their values to all people. For that reason, globalization may serve as a catalyst in changing the form, enhancing the speed and the impact of ?conversion? activities. The propagation of a religion in terms of its values may take the form of ?religious interaction? or ?religious assimilation?.In this Study, the impact of globalization on religious life has been analyzed.Key Words: Globalization, religion, religious life
