Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is examine globalism and how globalism effects tourism. Globalism has been around but started showing it?s face more after 1980?s. In this study globalism will be looked at in a different persfective and explained how it effects tourism in Turkey.In this study, a different qualitative teknique was used and all academic papers and journals examined about this subject. At first, the start of globalism explained and how it developed over the years and some of the important tourism terms described. Furthermore, the effects of globalism thorughout the world and it?s impacts tourism in Turkey elaborated.At the end of the study, it became obvious that globalism makes people look at the world as one nation. And of course for that reason globalism effected tourism a lot. Modern tecnology and and social media helped this process as well. If we look at the ecomonic aspect of the tourism we see that globalism effected the whole world. Turkey is on top ten, on a list of countries that gets the most tourists and gets economic growth through tourism. For this reason it must be said that globalism effected Turkey a lot as well and with using right tools it can help Turkey and improve it?s tourism in the near future.Key Words: Globalism, International Tourism, Turkey
