Abstract (EN)
Business world has been experiencing the biggest change, as a consequence of globalisation, alteration, changing understanding of competitiveness and developments-advances especially in information and communication technologies while affecting enterprises since the last quarter of 20th century, so the main policies of enterprises, which are of the basic actors of business world are also affected from this change.Nowadays, advanced technology increases enterprises? need for qualified employee. Increasing importance of human resource also increases the importance of HRM at all conditions. These developments and alterations have deeply affected HRM and thus the utmost point has happened to be; e-HRM.Objective of this study is to determine place and importance of gathering candidates through information technologies in this alteration course by examining, quick alteration and globalisation process? impacts on enterprises? employee provision processes with pros and cons.In accordance of this objective, developments in e-HRM and e-recruiting processes, which have been widely used in recent years, are depicted largely. While questioning motives of enterprises for practicing these systems also positive and negative reflections arose, were debated. In addition to using field research technique of the quantitative research techniques, an interview form composed of 3 categories has been created and practiced in 72 companies; by interviewing 72 managers face to face, as a means of data collection.In the final part of study, R&D companies?, established in Hacettepe University Technology Development Zone, rate of information technologies benefited from HRM applications and pros versus cons obtained by transferring HRM activities to electronic environment, were tried to be defined. In order to do this, utilisation level from e-HRM applications were compared with their previous utilisation levels. Due to obtained results, transition to e-HRM, has increased the effectiveness of human resources departments? and specialists? in the company and provided substantial amount of time and lower costs in the competitive environment for reaching the required qualified human resource of present day .Conclusions of this study monitor that the new technologies, widely used by the effect of globalisation, would lead to outstanding results in HRM. In a competitive environment of present day where the importance of human capital and new technologies increases, by examining new technologies? usage in human resources applications in macro level, new expansions on boosting technology infrastructure investments in Turkey would be available.Key Words1.Globalization2.Human Capital3.E-Human Resources Management4.E-Recruiting
