Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine performance off apple varieties such as Buckeye Gala, Granny Smith, Golden Clon B, Jeromine, Fuji and Pink Lady fertilized on M9 Scrub rootstock which is widely used in apple production under Kurtalan ecological conditions. In this study; Besides the Phenological, morphological, pomological, chemical properties of apples varieties, fruit and shoot development of them were examined. According to the results obtained, the begining of flowering waries between 23 March (Buckeye Gala) and 31 March (Fuji), 12 April (Buckeye Gala) and 15 April (Granny Smith), while the begining of harvest varies between 19 Auğust (Buckeye Gala) and 10 November (Pink Lady). In the cultivars, yield per tree was determined as 1.55±0.13 kg Fuji variety and 2.77±0.03 kg Jeromine variety. It is determined that fruit weight is between 103.7±4.93 g (Buckeye Gala) and 186.89±7.41 g (Fuji), fruit width is between 62.23±1.5 mm (Buckeye Gala) and 74.15±0.9 mm (Fuji), fruit length is between 53.84±0.9 mm (Buckeye Gala) and 68.92±1.26 mm (Golden Clon B) and fruit hardness is between 8.27±0.55 lb (Fuji) and 11.01±0.18 lb (Granny Smith). It is concluded that the pH value is between 3.73±0.03 (Granny Smith) and 4.47±0.12 (Buckeye Gala), the amount of water soluble dry matter is between %14.25±0.42 (Granny Smith) and %16.48±0.5 (Golden Clon B) and the amount of titratable acid is between %0.21±0.01 (Golden Clon B) and %0.68±0.03 (Granny Smith).
