Malatya Community House: From it's oppening to closing

After the closure of Turkısh Hearths on Tenth of April 1931, Community Centers were established in 14 city centers with the order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on Nineteenth of Feb, 1932. Community Center of Malatya was one of the firstly established centers. In its first year, Malatya Community Center commenced its activities with seven branches and 186 condidates. From its begining till its end had five Community Centers and 54 Community rooms. Malatya Community Center told and tought the innovetion and ideas of Republic to the public with its nine branches. Branches of Language and Literature, Repsenetment, Social Aid and Peasantry Operated successfully. Farthest destinations were visited and both cultural activities organized and the code of the party was covered by means of Community Centers. Aforementioned movements took attention also in Malatya. These manuals have been important in order to improve the cultural level of the city. Community Centers were closed on the Eightth of August, 1951 as a result of political circumstances.
