Özet (EN)
This study covers construction of social institutions by the human who is a social being and has the potential of being the subject of socio-cultural reality domain in terms of institutionalization to meet individual and collective needs. In this context, this study aims to reach systematic knowledge about Akhism which is the exemplar of embodiment of socio-cultural reality in 13th century Anatolia.Human, who is an object as a result of the bodily needs in a physical world becomes a subject and has the potential to be subject in historical and sociological sense leaning towards value and meaning maintaining the possibility of transcending needs, reason and will. In this state, human is a member of meaning and value domain and a subject of the socio-cultural reality. The reason for this is the changing and dynamic structure of human that enables the reproduction of the societal. Human is under the stimulus of countless choices to meet individual and collective needs which means that institutionalization process is pursuing vertical or/and horizontal movement that is chaotic, rhizomic and profound. Operational critical behavior having the potential of reproduction of societal, most preferable among the choices, working accordingly to the moral criteria and functionality takes the form of social institution with the support of social unions. This social institution, as a part of socio-cultural reality, samples part-whole relation establishing semantic, organic, cybernetic and functional interaction with other social institutions and the whole. Akhism institution came in to being in 13th century Anatolia after the combination of socio-cultural reality with time and space. Akhism institution is established by the Turks that passed through institutionalization process while settling in Anatolia. These people produced a mentality that comprises integrity of human, society and universe as a response to their needs by using the demographic material, utilizing the socio-economic, political situation and melting cultural components of Ancient Turks, guilds of Eastern Roman Empire and heterodox impact of Iran and Khorassan in the pot of Islam. The mentality that conveyed us from feta (generous) to fütüvvet (generosity) and from that point to Akhism is important especially to us and to present day with regards to its form that unites dualist concepts and perceptions of modern science, operates scope of human on the basis of universal and human values, leans toward the ideal of moral figure. This mentality is the signal of a civilization conception that relates the parts by accepting the social reality with a holistic perspective. In fact, this conception aims to free the concepts that are modern and postmodern expression of the same thing from the grasp of socio-political collusions. Our search found Akhism as a model that we do not only have to transfer itself to present day but also the mentality behind it.At an age, in which the corruption and disintegration is on the highest level, in which the mind is bombarded with dualist structures such as socialism-capitalism, mind-heart, substance-meaning, world-hereafter, actor-structure, the role of sociology in constructing new civilization that needs to move from overselves to universal is to prepare intellectual material that will carry humanity to the desired scope of values to establish part-whole harmony of the truth. This is the base of the study. In this study, we took Akhism as a socio-cultural reality construction under the guidance of the mentality illustrated with holistic approach. This discussion entails multi-disciplined approach in terms of psychology, sociology and theology. In this study, we came to the conclusion that, Akhism as a socio-economic institution with its moral model and value ideals, with its way of meeting the individual and collective needs of human and with its holistic conception of human, society and universe is capable of opening minds and it has desired paradigmal inoculation having several enriching components.Keys Words1.
