An application for investigation of material management module in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system

The main purpose of this study is to examine the Material Management Modüle in a company where Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is used actively and effectively then to determine the returns , benefits and other gains of the modüle. By means of the efficient and sucssful use of ERP systems, companies become owners of an information System where a common language is used in their all deparments. So activities and workflows are planned and controlled. In this research , I choise Kastamonu Entegre A.Ş. because of this company being achieved this gain. This Company also can be a good sample to other companies which want to use ERP. As a reseach method, Case Study , one of the qualitative reseach methods, was used firstly.In order to support the research findings, a survey was conducted with company employees who use the ERP Material Managemnet Modüle as part of their work.Then the datas obtained from the survey were analyzed in SPSS . As a results of this study, the impact of the Material Management Modüle on ERP Systems has been presented as a concrete example.
