The project management approach in the enterprise resource planning system integration process and a company study

The Success of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) depends not on the size of budget but adequate preparation and proper project management. Otherwise, inadequate preparation process and incorrect project management cause devastating results. All projects relevant to Information Technologies (IT) delicate to changes in the business enviroment and pace of change in the global business world generates demands of enterprise systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). At the same time, system success depands on the punctiliousness of project management processes. Shift in scopes, poor risk management, insufficient allocation of human resources over time and vendor management are some common problems with the implementation of an operating system. In this research, project management approach was examined and practice during the Enterprise Resource Planning systems implementation.
