Examining of teacher's views ofinstitutional social responsibility activities

The aim of this research is to determine the social responsibilities of educational institutions in the direction of teacher perceptions.At the same time, it has been tried to determine what the social responsibility practices of educational institutions and teachers are and the obstacles in front of social responsibility practices. Research is structured on the basis of the evolutionary pattern of qualitative research methods. The research group of the research is composed of 40 teachers working in Adıyaman province in 2016-2017 academic year. The data were obtained through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. Content analysis techniques was used in the analysis of the data. The main conclusions reached in the survey are teachers' perceptions of corporate social responsibility, legal responsibilities, voluntary responsibilities and ethical responsibilities. The social responsibility activities they participate in are activities for students, activities for parents and activities for the environment. According to the results of the researchthe social responsibilities of educational institutions are legal responsibilities, voluntary responsibilities, ethical responsibilities and economic responsibilities.The level of fulfillment of social responsibilities of educational institutions is weak and the obstacles in front of social responsibilities are institutional obstacles and obstacles stemming from stakeholders. According to the research, social responsibility practices implemented by educational institutions will contribute to the society, institutions, students and parents. In order to increase the levels of participation of teachers in social responsibility applications, individual and institutional studies should be done and in order to increase the level of social responsibility of education institutions, some studies should be done at the level of teacher and at the level of ministry at the level of teacher.
