Özet (EN)

The globalisation of trade, the diversity of sales and distribution channels and the difficulty of managing resources have started to make the use of ERP compulsory in enterprises that have reached a certain size. The main purpose of this research is to examine the effects of institutionalisation level and organisational culture concepts on the expectations of enterprises from ERP software. Within the scope of the research, questionnaires were collected from 396 people working at different levels in various departments of enterprises using ERP in Istanbul and analysed in SPSS 24 programme. As a result of the research, it was observed that only the flexibility dimension of institutionalisation has an effect on the pre-installation expectations from ERP software, while the consistency and flexibility dimensions of institutionalisation have a positive effect on the post-installation expectations from ERP software, and the autonomy dimension has a negative effect. Organisational culture has no effect on expectations from ERP software before or after installation.
