E-government, e-municipality, e-collection: Kütahya example

In order to ease the burden on citizens and institutions, providing municipal services over the internet has enabled the collection of collections and taxes electronically. In this study conducted for Kütahya in the context of e-municipality, the findings support the view that the electronic public services offered by the municipality will be more widespread and the concept of red tape may completely disappear in the future. Moreover, in addition to improving citizens' relations with the municipality to follow their complaints and meet their needs electronically, this study also examines the current status of e-municipality in local government bodies, the need to evaluate e-municipality implementation, including its acceptance and adoption, and the issues related to e-municipality development and implementation. It addressed the identification of challenges and the need to develop strategies to meet them. In this study, the development process of e-government application systems and the way they are used in Kütahya were discussed and a analysis was carried out by applying document review, one of the qualitative research methods. In this context, the services offered in Kütahya in e-government applications have not yet reached a sufficient level, although they reduce the difficulties in accessing information and information security, and although e-municipality applications are used in Kütahya Municipality and save time, they have not yet raised a holistic awareness in the local people and It can be said that municipal practices are in their early stages in terms of expectations of society, institutions and organizations.
