Abstract (EN)

In this study, the riwayats in the works Abû Dâvûd's as-Sunan and Maja's as-Sunan criticised by muhaddiths as being mawdu were investigated. These two works, which are among the important works of sunnah, one of the major sources of Islam, contain criticised riwayats along with the many riwayats accepted to be sahih. Hadith imams subjected the hadiths to many critiques within the rules of al-jarh wa at-ta'dil from the period of tedvin in place to distinguish between the subject matter and the weak rumors, and managed to prevent such verses from mixing with the real hadiths by revealing their infirmities. In this context, different studies have been carried out related to many hadith books. However, there was no satisfactory study that dealt with the text and isnad of the verses that were discussed in Abû Dâvûd's as-Sunan and İbn Maja's as-Sunan. Therefore, in this study, such periods in both works were dealt with separately and the opinions of the muhaddith on the relevant verses were evaluated and a detailed examination was conducted on the subject. In this context, the opinions of the scholars regarding the hadiths in both works and which were evaluated by scholars as saying that the subject matter was the subject matter were conveyed, and the opinions of the scholars about these verses were investigated and put forward within the framework of the rules of al-jarh wa at-ta'dil science. In the study, it was acted within the framework of a critical approach based on research. In the introduction of the study, the concepts of circumcision, cash and subject matter related to the conceptual framework are discussed. In the first chapter, a general information about Abû Dâvûd'slife and reputation was given and then evaluated by considering the verses that the muhaddith had in this work.In the second chapter, after an overview of İbn Maja's life and reputation, the verses that were criticized by scholars were evaluated in this work.
