Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to compare the effects of different inter-set rest strategies on acute jump performance and perceived exertion (RPE) during strength training sessions. Thirteen male football players aged 16-19 from a participated in the study. The research involved implementing four different protocols, and jump performances and PE responses were recorded after each protocol. Repeated measures ANOVA was used for the statistical analysis of all data. According to the research findings, while no statistical differences were observed in the early sets, the treadmill walking protocol (TWP) demonstrated the highest jump performance from the third set onwards. Other applications showed neither positive nor negative effects. RPE data did not show statistically significant differences between protocols. Consequently, running-based exercises can be utilized to enhance performance, while mobility exercises do not negatively affect performance and can be used concurrently for multiple improvements between sets.
