Hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical studies of the Kızıldere (Denizli) geothermal field

Özet (EN)

The purpose of the research is exhibiting features of hydrogeological, hydrogeochemical and isotopic of Kızıldere geothermal field. The hot water samples have been placed sodium - bicarbonate edge of Durov diagram and they have similar chemical features generally on Durov diagram. According to Piper diagram, classification of the hot water samples is determined as "extremely soft water, which is rarely found in nature". The hot water samples have similar chemical features on Schoeller diagram. The sample of Büyük Menderes river is mixing water in reference to Durov, Piper and Schoeller diagrams, which have made in the study. The hot water samples have more than 50 years aged circulation and they have been determined as mixed with current raining water. Also, chemical interactions of hot water with reservoir rocks have been determined. Results of geothermometer calculations are between 180 and 251 centigrade degrees. Usability of this results have been confirmed with using Giggenbach Triangle and Square diagrams. Geothermometer values of Giggenbach diagrams are between 220 and 240 centigrade degrees. Results of reservoir temperatures are between 206 and 245 centigrade degrees with reference to "Enthalpy-Sodium" mixing model. Results of reservoir temperatures are between 169 and 274 centigrade degrees with regard to "Enthalpy-Silica" mixing model. According to crustration analyses, using inhibitors are recommended on all geothermal wells except KD-1 and R-3. Safety temperature of KD-1 and R-3 wells have been calculated as 73 and 62 centigrade degrees.
