Deleuze'ün çokluklar teorisinde devlet

In this thesis, Deleuze's conception of the state is analyzed around the theory of multiplicities, and the theory of multiplicities is analyzed around the problem of difference that Deleuze poses from the standpoint of immanence and affirmation. Throughout this analysis, instead of showing how Deleuze's theory of multiplicities is the source of his conception of the state, or how this conception necessarily derives from the theory of multiplicities, we have preferred to analyze the theoretical-political problems that arise when being and politics are considered from the perspective of immanence and affirmation. This preference has made it necessary to go beyond Deleuze and consider both his analysis of the state and his theory of multiplicities in dialogue with the efforts of other thinkers in the same direction. In keeping with the aim of the thesis, these dialogues have been used not only to identify points of convergence and divergence between thinkers, but rather to elaborate the problems to which these points belong. Among these problems, the focus is on the question of whether displacement of transcendence by immanence and the labor of the negative by affirmation still allow for an effective critique of the state and a powerful theory of struggle against it. An exploration of the transversal connections between Deleuze's texts has lead to the conclusion that the idea of immanence does not exclude a radical critique of sovereignty, any more than affirmation, whose essence is difference, excludes the aggression and selection of difference. On the contrary, instead of grasping multiplicities from the point of view of the state, in accordance with its presuppositions and its image, we have seen that grasping the state from the point of view of multiplicities, in their terms and in their relations, offers a much more effective way of exposing the state as a structural violence.
