Abstract (EN)

Control systems are very important in all devices used in today's developing technology. In the industry, temperature control is necessary in terms of stable operation of a device. It is needed to control the temperature precisely at the desired level and to monitor it remotely. There are many methods for controlling these types of systems and the most comon method is PID control. In this thesis, real-time temperature measurement and control application was performed with PID controller using LabVIEW and Raspberry Pi 3. The temperature measurement of this application was made with the DS18B20 sensor. The model of the water heater used in the application was calculated using real-time temperature data using LabVIEW and Raspberry Pi 3. PID coefficients were calculated using the Ziegler-Nichols method for the model obtained. The performance of the designed controller was examined in Matlab/Simulink environment. PID controller algorithm software was performed on Raspberry Pi 3 for real-time control of the system. In the continuation of the thesis study, fractional order controller which has become popular in recent years, has been applied for this temperature control system. The time response of the system was obtained using the IFTM (Inverse Fourier Transform Method) method developed in Matlab environment. Compared to the simulation results obtained by the integer PID method, the fractional PID control method was found to be more successful according to settling time.
