A technical anaylsis of Lajos Montag double bass method (1)

This research, is designed to study the method of playing double bass techniques written by Lajos Montag, who is regarded as one of the most significant pedagogues and virtuosos of the instrument, and aims to determine what technical teachings and methods the double bass students at the beginner level should acquire to learn the instrument and thus move along. It has also been aimed to discover the conveniences and advantages of this method which was primarily written for the beginner level in double bass training both for educators and students.
