Examination of parameters effected on metal meterials by laser cutting

There are a lot of thermal cutting methods while producing metarials. Each cutting method has advantages and disadvantages to the eachother. In this study one of the thermal cutting methods, the processes of getting the laser beam which is used for cutting CO2 laser system, laser beam cutting methods and factors affecting the cutting proceses is explained. During CO2 laser beam cutting method; there are parameters affecting the cutting proceses. These parameters are focus spot of the laser beam, cutting speed and cutting gas pressure. These samples which are produced by changing these parameters their cutting surface, internal structures and hardness by comparing the effect of changes in parameters were analyzed.
