Özet (EN)

In this study, 4-cyano-4?-n-heptylbiphenyl liquid crystal has been doped by polymer, dye and carbon nanotube materials. The dielectrical properties of the liquid crystals have been investigated using dielectrical spectroscopy method. Laser illumination changed dielectrical anisotropy values of the liquid crystals doped polymer, dye and carbon nanotube. The dielectrical relaxation mechanism of the liquid crystals was analyzed by Cole and Cole curves. The perpendicular and parallel components of the electrical conductivity of the liquid crystals were mesasured as a function of frequency. The current-voltage characterisitics of the liquid crystals under dark and illumination conditions were investigated. Consequently, it was observed that the dielectrical parameters and dielectrical anisotropy properties of the liquid crystals doped polymer, dye and carbon nanotube were changed by laser effect. Keywords: Liquid crystal, laser, dielectrical anisotropy, polymer, dye, carbon nanotube
