As the foundation of liberalism John Locke's state idea

When we have a look at the history of thought deeply, ideas of some philosophers have been source to next centuries exceeding their own eras. One of these philosophers is J. Locke who was the initiator of liberal speeches in the 17th century. As the foundation of liberal doctrine, J. Locke's state idea forms the main subject of our study. For this reason, in our thesis, we mentioned state ideas, liberalism, political atmosphere that Locke lived in, theories that he formed in the picture of state idea and lastly comparison with some thoughts and effects on them In this study, first of all, we see that Locke supported 1688 Revolution in England with his political idea. His state idea was used to legalise a revolution with an aim to knock over a cruel king and to take former rights back. He used the holy desire, which was a source to law, to show the legal ways to reach that aim people turned to civil society which has natural rights from nature state Provided they keep freedom and accommodation rights by signing agreement. Firstly, people formed society by signing agreement between they and then formed political power by signing agreement with administrators. Duty of political authority and every member is to preserve natural rights so, both in nature and in society, he who breaks the natural laws should be punished. It's the responsibility of each member to God to rebel to the those who break these laws even authorities. In such a situation, the member has the right to take back the right to punish and judge Locke shows that it's a must to god to preserve the natural rights. He wanted to limit the activities of the manipulated and manipulators by law consequently by holy power. So he legalised 1688 revolution.rv During our study, we faced especially two deficiencies in Locke's political theory. First of them is his coursing possession as holy by putting in to natural rights. The other one is limiting tolerance with Christianity and with it's variations apart from the other liberals. We believe that Locke's not approving those who have no possessions for citizenship and limiting tolerance with only one religion and its sects and saying nothing for other subjects overshadow his state ideas. In spite of these, Locke has been the first philosopher in liberalism building his own management with concept such as individualism, neutrality and tolerance. Consequently these concepts have made him the leader of liberalism idea.
