Abstract (EN)
As a result of the literature search made in regard to the studies on the relationship between leadership styles and organizational trust, it is seen that leadership and organizational trust issue is of great importance both to the business management and to the management scientists. The fact that the success of the business related decisions taken is attributed to the business leaders has become the supportive point regarding that the need for a "reliable leader" is an issue worth examining. Businesses can develop new approaches in terms of establishing organizational trust by increasing the efficiency and functionality of the leaders or managers. Likewise, the prerequisite for an active leadership is to maximize the organizational trust. Attribution of such importance to the organizational trust has brought about the need to examine the relationships between the organizational trust and leadership styles. In line with all these objects, basic concepts were examined and preliminary information was given in the first part of the study. The second part, literature section, on the other hand, was made utilizing the critical literature review technique and similar and different aspects of the researches were put forth by examining the literature. In the last part, however, a field research was made in the firm AGT Wood Ind.and Trade Inc.; questionnaire results were analyzed and compared utilizing the SPSS analysis program and whether or not there is a similarity between the literature and research results and the research results were revealed.As a result of these results, it is detected that rather than a positive relationship between the leadership styles and organizational trust, there was not a strong relationship between the leadership styles and organizational trust in a large part of the study in literature. According to the participants, organization leader has mainly transformational and interactional leadership characteristics. Moreover, it is concluded that only age and educational status affect organizational trust. Besides, it is detected that the higher the educational level, the lower the organizational trust becomes.
