Abstract (EN)
Fibers are added to conventional concrete to improve its tensile, flexural, toughness, and cracking properties. Steel wize, polyprophylen and glass fibers are preffered for such applications. In this study, steel wize, polyprophylen and glass fiber added specimens were prepared to be tested under flexure. Plain concrete control specimens? toughness and deflection values were compared with the same parameters fort the fiber added specimens. Tested samples included sets of three specimens prepared with 0,5 ? 1 ? 1,5 % volumetric fiber ration. the specimens were tested under flexure and the results presented in graphical format with comparisons based on fiber type and with reference to control specimens. Result showed that all specimens with added fiber had higher toughness and deformation capacity. Specimens with steel fiber are absorved to perform bette than the other fiber reinforced specimens.
