Abstract (EN)

In this study, the reactions of P-trichloro-N-dichlorophosphorylmonophosphazene with some alcohols have been investigated. Since linear phosphazene is sensitive to air and moisture, experimental studies were carried out at without air and moisture(in argon atmosphere), o-metyl phenol, p-metyl phenol, 1 -hydroxy naphthalene, 2-hydroxy 1-nitroso naphthalene and 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol were used as alcohols. The starting compound, P- trichloro-N-dichlorophosphorylmonophosphazene was prepared from phosphorus pentachloride and ammonium sulfate. The alcolates were prepared from alcohol and metalic sodium. In the first the phosphazene and alcohol were reacted at 0°. Then the reaction was refluxed in the boiling solvents. After the reaction products were seperated by using thin layer and column chromatograpy, the structure of the compounds were defined by elementel analysis, IR, ]H, i3C, 31P-NMR and mass spectroscopy. The defined compounds are l-chloro,l-(o-metylphenoxy)phosphinyl-2,2,2-tris(o- metylphenoxy)phosphazene, 1, 1 -bis-(o-metylphenoxy)phosphinyl-2,2,2-tris (o-metyl phenoxy)phosphazene, 1, 1 -bis-(p-metylphenoxy)phosphinyl-2,2,2-tris (p-metyl phenoxy)phosphazene, 1, 1 -bis-( 1 -naphthalenoxy)phosphinyl-2,2,2-tris( 1 -naphthalenoxy) phosphazene.VI Phosphazene or any phosphorus compound could not be isolated from the reaction of phosphazene with 2-hydroxy 1-nitroso naphthalene and 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol KEY WORDS: P-trichloro-N-dichlorophosphorylmonophosphazene, Alcoholyses, Linear Phosphazenes.
