Effect of dietary lipase and proteaz supplementation on growth performance, and body composi̇ti̇on and digestive enzyme activities in gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata linnaeus 1758)

Abstract (EN)
This study is composed by two experiments. Nutrition trials were carried out to investigate the effects of inclusion of lipase and protease enzymes (0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 g/kg diet) at different dietary lipid levels (%14 and %22) and different protein levels (%40 and % 50) on growth performance, feed utilization body composition, digestive enzyme activity of fingerlings gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata). Thirty-five gilthead sea bream juveniles (average body weight was 7.72±0.05 g ) were stocked into each tanks (450 L) as triplicate and experiments lasted for 60 days. At the end of first the experiment, final body weight (FBW) 64.42±1.06 g, specific growth ratio (SGR) 3.55±0.01, feed conversion rate (FCR) 1.20±0.18, were found better in LL-0.5 than those the other groups (P<0.05). At the end of second the experiment final body weight (FBW) 52.38±0.70 g, specific growth ratio (SGR) 3.18±0.02, feed conversion rate (FCR) 1.17±0.03, were found better in HP-0.5 than those the other groups (P<0.05). In addition, whole-body protein, dry matter and fat levels were statistically different in the LL-0.5 and HP-0.5 groups at two experiments (P<0.05). LL-0.5 and HP-0.5 groups showed the best digestive capacity compared to averages of the treatment groups (P<0.05). An increase in Protease, Trypsine and Alkaline Phosphatase enzyme activity were observed as a function of growth from the until the end of the experiments at LL-0.5 and HP-0.5 groups. Amilase, Lipase and Aminopeptidase activities observed in the LL-0.5 and HP-0.5 groups were lower than those the other groups. The using of lipaz (0.5g / kg, % 14 lipid) and protease enzyme (0.5g/kg, % 50 protein) in sea bream juveniles diets could be recommended for intensive sea bream culture.
