Factors affecting the preference of professional instrument in Turkish music state conservatories providing undergraduate education

One of the most important stops in the history of world culture is undoubtedly Anatolia. As the representatives of this geography, we should take measures to ensure that the art institutions that we have as a society that has raised countless artists, folk artists, poets and more, should be more qualified and functioning, and we should develop policies that will lead to the work to be done in this field. One of the most important feet of art education, the state conservatories grow up from the moment they come out of the art work field to combat the difficulties they will encounter, solve problems and have enough equipment to work in the field can be mentioned about many parameters affecting. Among the many parameters, perhaps the most important point is that the conservatory students receive their education and they are expressed as a professional instrument in conservative education. A conservatory student is obliged to spend the necessary time in order to specialize in the field of theory and practice in the field of profession chosen by him during his education. In this context, the guidance made by the instructors and the functioning of the current curriculum are also of great importance. Researches on the field show that the choice of vocational instruments of students who study at conservatory is shaped by acclaimed or heeled information rather than a conscious art accumulation, or they find their shape as a troubled situation during their professional life. In our study, the factors affecting the selection of the profession instrument during the conservatory education and the conservatory education were evaluated and the questionnaires were conducted by one-to-one interviews with the students. The results were converted into tables by using written and statistical evaluation programs.
