Evaluating academic motivation,expectation, perception level of tourism students in bachelor degree studying in Poland and Turkey

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the motivation, perceptions and expectations of the students about tourism education and to benefit the literature by comparing the countries in this area, emphasizing that tourism education plays an important role for the development of the tourism sector.In the first part of the research, the concepts of tourism, education and tourism education are given, the concept of tourism, concepts and effects, the concept of education and training, the development of professional tourism education and the motivation, perception and expectations about tourism education are examined and also information about the development of tourism education in Europe is provided. The second part is about Turkish education system, higher education and tourism education. In the third part, information about the Polish education system and tourism education are included. In the fourth part, the method and findings of the research are presented.
