Abstract (EN)

The target of this research, is to determine the opinions of state employedpost-graduate students studying at institute of Educational Sciences of The GaziUniversity. Research is based on analysing the data gathered by inquiry methods. Forthe setting of example 299 students were usedAccording to the results of the data analyzed, the basic talents obtained fromthe current educational program are, having academic background, the ability ofdoing scientific research, analyzing knowledge, having positive attitudes towardsstudent teacher communications and solving educational and institutional problemsoccured during teaching. The functions of the post-graduate education are; have arole in knowledge production and dissemination of this knowledge, helping toimprove educational policies and educational institutes, to provide skilled personelfor the public or market and training scientists for educational institutions. The resultreceived from analyzing the data shows that the students are more positive for hequality of their education programmes. For the student selection, the data shows thatstudents believe the selection criteria should be more objective and the physicalsituations of the institute should be taken into consideration. On the other hand thestudents having been selected are at good in educational ability and knowledgeproduction.According to the students they can use the knowledge gained from the lessonswhile they are teaching. They also believe that they are improving their teachingability. For the lesson term they believe that lesson term is enough but for the thesisterm they are not sure whether it is enough or not.
