Attitude of students of high school an equal school towards philosophy lessons and the relation between their attention and success

In the first section of my research, to determine attention towards tophilosphy lesson we arranged inquiry by scanning literature of thesis. In thefirst section of the research on literature has raughly given us information onthe attention towards philosphy.In the second section of the inquiry we asked guestions such as sex,age, type of school, place of birth, place they are living, sitiutation of motherand father education and finance number of siblings. Whether or not theyhave a room to themselves and their thoughts about philosophy to determinethe results.To put forwad the inquiry answers to the following guestions wereasked.1) Does high school and equal school students attentiontowards philosophy change according to age, sex, school type, class,place of birth, place they are living, mother and father financal andeducation situation, number siblings and whether or not thy have aroom to themselves?2) Does high school and equal school students attentiontowards to philosophy and oppinnuouns about philosophy lessons andtheir success show any changes?Most of the students who took part in the research where in year threeand four from Sincan High Scholl Sincan Industry and Career High School,Süleyman Demirel Anatolion High School the suburb of Sincan in Ankara.The sample space for research was chosen randomly from third andfourth grades with a total of 358 students.To find the solutions to the research philosophy attention inquiry andphilosophy achivement tests were used. To determine the attention of highschool and equal schools students on philosophy we used a philosophyattention test which we developed with Prof. Dr. Kazım Sarıkavak on Assoc.Dr. Ayşe Canatan from Gazi University.The data we found from sample space to put in to evaluationaccording to the problems. To analyze the problems, to calculate percentageand frequency by using variance analysis, T test, annova and Q-squareanalysis.The research about the attention towards philosophy was taken intoconsideriation according to their sex, age, school type place of birth, placetheir live, number of siblings, mother and fathers financial situation andeducation situation. We realized that female students have more attentiontowards philosophy and are more succesfull. On the other hand we observedthat students who go to high school are more succesfull than Industry andCareer High School students.
