Abstract (EN)
The results shows significant effects between internet addiction and eating attitude. Results from this study revealed that, students eating attitudes did not vary according to class level, body-mass index, income status, state of using social media. Students' eating attitude did vary according gender and weight satisfaction. Students' internet addiction level did not vary according to gender, educational status of parents and place of using social media. Finally, internet addiction levels of students did vary according to class levels, income status, state of using social media and time of staying online in social media. The main purpose of this study to see the effect of gender, class level, body-mass index, weight satisfaction, educational status of parents, income status, state of using social media, time of stay online in social media, place of using social media on eating attitude and internet addiction of high-school students. The participants consisted of a total of 301 high-school students in Istanbul, Basaksehir in 2015. The analyse data collected via "Eating Attitude Test-40" invented by Garner and Garfinkel (1979) and "Internet Addiction Scale" invented by Young (1996). SPSS 20.00 program used to analyse. Regression Analyse, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis H Test, ANOVA analyse and Independent Samples t-Test performed to analyze the data.
