Abstract (EN)
Investigation of the Relationship between High School Students' Attitudes towards Addictive Substances and Social Exclusion Status Objective: This research was made to investigate the relation between attitude of the students on addictive substances and social exclusion. Materials and Methods: This research was made with 385 participants who are studying different 5 high schools in Elazığ province.Statistical analysis of research with quantitative research techniques was made by using SPSS 15.0 packet programme. Normality Test, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) Test and Bartlett Test of Sphericity were performed to determine whether the data data is suitable for factor analysis. The Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (Pearson correlation coefficient) analysis and Regression analysis were performed to determine the relationships between the scales data. Findings: While the students' attitude scale about addictive substances showed a significant difference according to gender, age and grade level; No significant difference was found according to the number of siblings, the number of children in the family, whether the mother and father were alive or not, the status of the parent's association, who the child was with, the type of family, and the educational status of the mother and father. In social exclusion scale and sub-dimensions of the scale, exclusion and consideration; There was no significant difference in terms of gender, age, grade level, number of siblings, number of children in the family, whether parents were alive or not, the status of the parent's association, who the child was with, and the educational status of the father. In the sub-dimension of the social exclusion scale, there is a significant difference according to the family type, and the educational status of the mother. As a result of the regression analysis; It has been determined that there is a positive relationship between the feelings of exclusion and neglect among students and their social exclusion.
