Abstract (EN)
In order to measure the current knowledge of high school students in the education system and to ensure the transition from a lower level to an upper level, they are subjected to exams prepared by the multiple choice test method. In these exams, the approach of each student to the questions and the styles of solving the questions may be different from each other. The purpose of this study Antalya Chemistry Olympics students who attend different high schools took part in the during the exam the questions in pencil on the intervention used test booklets with spontaneous/involuntary some of the drawing-painting, and the visual data to be standardized, and so forth coded and analysed. The process expressed as coding is the comparison and analysis of drawings and shapes formed while solving questions according to different criteria. In this context, a total of 206 people participated in the 4th event held at Akdeniz University in 2019. Participating in the Antalya Chemistry Olympiad (AKO) exam 10. and 11. the exam booklets received back from the class students were subjected to visual examination with a systematic approach, and the question solving styles and approaches of the students were classified. The test booklets of 206 students selected in accordance with the purposeful sampling were examined and standardized and classified in the light of 5 separate criteria. The data obtained in the light of these 5 criteria were analyzed using the SPSS 23 program. In the analysis of the data, the "independent groups t-test" was used. In the statistical analyses, the general significance level was determined (p<.05) has been accepted as. The data obtained were grouped and interpreted through tables. When the student test booklets that are the source of the data are analyzed; 10. class and 11th. a significant difference was found in four of the five criteria in terms of the answering behaviors exhibited by the students in the multiple choice test questions. 10. and 11. no significant difference was found in terms of the response behaviors exhibited by the students of the private and state Anatolian High School classes. Statistically significant differences were found between 6 separate groups consisting of different types of schools compared Dec each other. There was a significant difference in the behaviors exhibited by male and female students in multiple choice tests in terms of two criteria. In general, when examining the findings, students mostly different criteria 5 a) using the method of answering the questions of elimination (%23,66), b) they strove to solve the questions (%40,66) and c) tried to solve the questions, but to solve (%17,78) have been identified.
