Young people are the biggest assurance of the developing countries. Because of the high life-standards of the developed countries, people have the chance of an ordered life in which all kinds of requirements are welcomed. However, it is much more diffucult to welcome either physical or psychologic requirements in developing countries, like us. Every individual borns in a family. The family environment of the individual, affects his development either positive or negative. Infact, being grown-ups, mother and father represents the culture, value and attitudes of the social class they belong. Social class is not just an economic concept. It includes the educational level, income, habits, wordly point of view and life style of the individual. In the research, the effects of the socio-economic level of the individuals on welcoming their psychological requirements are investigated. On this purpose, five high-schools are chosen by chance in Sakarya and a form of Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS) was administered to a group of 216 high school students. At the end, it is seen that in different groups of socio economic level which was searched, the points they got from the bottom tests, from the fifteen areas they of requirements, succorance, mtraception,afBliation,hurturance, achivement, chance carries different meanings Considering these results, it can be said that the social and economic conditions are the factors which determines the psychological requirements.
