The exami̇nati̇on effecti̇veness of hi̇gh school counseli̇ng servi̇ces by the percepti̇on of students

In this research effectiveness of high school counseling service was examined by the perception of students in terms of difference in gender,the type and class of school,the hour of counseling course at school,educational status of the family students and family income statue.The sample of te study was gathered in 2018-2019 academic year in İstanbul province from 420 high school students. The ultilization of Guidance and Counseling Services Effectiveness Evaluation Scale and Personel Information Form''is retrieved the data for this research.Data were analyzed Shapiro-Wilk to examine the perceived effectiveness of high school counseling service according to the independent variables of the study.When the analyses of variances are non homogenous,Kruskal-Wallis analysis from parametric statistics is used. The results of the research; When the perceived effectiveness of high school couseling service is examinede by the terms of gender,educational status of the family students and the family income statue, results do not show any significant level of differences. When the perceived effectiveness of high school couseling service is examinede by the terms of the type and class of school,results show significant level of differences.
