Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is developing a completely electrical filter which can be offered insteadof surface acoustic wave filter that is used at RF stage of digital TV receiver systems.Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters are used for very different RF applications and wellknownwith their perfect and sharp filter characteristics. Log-domain filtering is one of themost popular current-mode filtering methods. The aim of this thesis is to design a completelyelectrical SAW filter by applying log-domain filter methods. SAW filters that are specific forTV applications are the subject of this thesis.Sixth order Chebyshev type bandpass filter is designed by using signal flow graph methodand state space synthesis, which are important approaches for log-domain filtering. Asimulation related with developed circuit is done. Among the results of simulation arecompatibility to embedded systems and flexibilities that is provided to designer.
