Abstract (EN)
Logistic process spanning from purchasing operation to material handling in the plant, from inventory management to supplement of the product to the customer, information management is very important. In this study, the productivity of Logistics Information System (LIS) at the companies is tried to be evaulated by an expert system. Among the supply chain process, logistics information system is investigated for this purpose. Furthermore, critical success factors of the system and performance measurements are determined. Evaluating the areas of logistic information system is given by hierachical tree structure. Visio program is used for drawing of the hierarchical trees, Paradox 7.0 database program is used for expert system database, Borland C++ is used for programming of the inference engine. Support is taken from the expert at the logistic sector for weighing of hierarchical branches. Consequently, developed expert system is applied to a textile firm at the organized industry area in Adana and its LIS productivity is evaluated.
