Logistics Performance Index, gross domestic product, export and import relationship: OECD countries example

The aim of this study is to create current econometric models by comparing the group of the organization for Economic Development and cooperation (OECD) countries using the Logistics Performance Index (LPE) data presented by the World Bank. Study published by the World Bank 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 according to the report the Logistics Performance Index the logistics performance are determined and grouped data obtained from the year 2018 as the base Year Index Score Index score highest ten OECD member countries the OECD member countries and logistics performance is the lowest of the figures obtained ten, GDP, exports and imports, has sought to associate with the concepts. When creating econometric group models, the Logistics Performance Index is ranked according to the Logistics Performance Index score of the ten highest OECD member countries and the Logistics Performance Index of the ten lowest OECD member countries in 2018. The study aims to examine the macroeconomic impact on gross domestic product, export and import items. Looking at the overall study, panel data analysis was used as the fundamental analysis method applied. In addition, the panel regression estimation method is preferred. However, by establishing a multiple-panel regression model, it aims to present a number of assumptions required by the technique used. The findings within the framework of Logistics Performance Index Logistics Performance Index scores in the highest ten OECD member countries (2007-2018) there is a positive correlation between the numbers and gross domestic product, however, that the same group of countries in import and Export Logistics Performance Index scores had any relationship other than with the figures. Logistics Performance Index as a result of analysis studies conducted for the ten lowest OECD member countries, it was found that there was no relationship between the Logistics Performance Index scores of the group countries (2007-2018) and GDP, export and import figures.
