Özet (EN)

Elective cataract surgery under local anesthesia planned between 45-75 years, ASA physical status I-III anesthetic into the risk group, 60 patients were studied and randomly divided into three groups. Patients in the Group M were given with a single dose iv 0,015 mg / kg midazolam, while the control group patients in Group P were given 5ml of saline. Patients in group M+K 0,015 mg / kg midazolam and ketamine 0,44 mg / kg was given intravenously. Hemodynamic and respiratory data of patients, intraoperative and postoperative sedation scores and side effects, the intraocular pressure (IOP) before and at the end of the implementation of the drug, the patient and surgeon comfort were also measured postoperatively. Periretrobulbar block was achieved by applying a local anesthetic.Anesthetic risk group of patients, demographic data did not differ between. Between heart rate was not statistically significant differences. Intraocular pressure (IOP) compared to Group M and Group M+K. intraocular pressure values were significantly lower. Oxygen saturation (SpO2) found no difference between. The sedation level of Group M+K were significantly higher than Group P and Group M. Respiratory rate in the Group M+K in the first 20 minutes was a statistically significant decline after were drugs given. The mean arterial pressure was significantly lower in Group M+K. Excellent patient comfort of 80%, surgeon comfort of 90% were evaluated as excellent in GroupM+K.As a result; under local anesthesia in cataract surgery to be applied in patients for sedation iv midazolam and iv midazolam + ketamine combination of appropriate measures that can be used safely, midazolam compared with midazolam+ketamine combination were provided patient sedation and surgical comfort increases, effective and safe sedoanaljezi provided, sedation scores is more meaningful, a better haemodynamic stability had been achieved. Midazolam+Ketamine and Midazolam group compared the effects on intraocular pressure in both groups of drugs that lower intraocular pressure, cataract surgery, provided the requested.Key Words: Midazolam, Ketamine, Cataract Surgery, Sedation.
