Abstract (EN)

Since the rules of Lausanne Treaty is continuing in present, it is very important for Turkish Republic. This treatment controls both internal and external policy of Turkey from the foundation of Republic, to the present.In the light of conversations of the treaty, it can be concluded that, the main rules in Misak-ı Milli abour minorities had become true in Lausanne Conferance.The meaning of minorities that was accepted in Lausanne Treaty is also important for Turkish Republic?s unity. During Lausanne Conferance Turkish Group stressed the point that there was not the concept of minorities in Muslims and people living in Anatolia were unified with ?Turkish identity?. Also this concept was accepted the whole world and in the same year this idea reflected to the Republic?s specialities such as ?the unitiy of country?, ?the unity of nation?.
