Özet (EN)
Beethoven was born at the time when the society was going through a phase of remarkable changes. Under those circumstances Beethoven did not feel distant to the French Revolution of 1789 that affected all of Europe and adopted the principles of ?freedom, equality and fraternity?. During the time he lived in Bonn he had contact with famous writers, thinkers and artists and that lively background was quite useful for his cultural accumulation and the formation of his world view. Beethoven was already a famous pianist when he moved to Wien. He gained reputation as a composer from 1796 onwards. He had always a free spirit and democratic perception in that he always composed the way he wanted and did not much care for the requests of nobles who commissioned pieces of music. The deterioration of his hearing at an early age and unanswered feelings of love relationships disapppointed him gravely and pushed him out of the social life with more and more introvert, resentful and aggresive behaviours. Even if he discontinued composing for 10 years and despite all difficulties he faced, he never gave up and and was eventually able to overcome difficulties heroically thanks to his strong will.Beethoven had a deep and characteristic literary language by developing what he heredited from Haydn and Mozart together with his own expressions. Beethoven is accepted as a succesful composer of sonatas, whos the last sonata of his Beethoven?s middle period, Op.90 in e minor was inspired by the marriage of his friends Count Moritz con Lichnowsky and actress Stummer after overcoming various difficulties and was composed in 1814. Op.101 in A Major, which was composed in the mature period and is generally considered to be a difficult piece to perform, was presented to Dorothea Ertmann, the outstanding pianist from Wien. Ertmann performed the piece in February 1816 when the composer was alive. Beethoven took a long break, then came up with one of his most mature and popular works: the sonata Op.109 in E Major composed to reflect the heroic feelings for freedom in 1820 and dedicated to Maximiliane Brentano to encourage her in playing the piano. The sonata Op.110 in A flat Major was studied extensively and is considered a masterpiece by music reviewers. The piece involves the introvert images of the composer and was composed in 1821.Beethoven mastered the art of working a small motif and turning it into a valuable and great work. Beethoven is one of the most influential composers in the history of music. He revolutionized the thinking and art with the power of his music.
