Apporoximation properties of Kantorovich type generalization of Lupaş operators

This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter, has been allocated to the introduction. In the second chapter, general information and theorems about the linear positive operators are given. In the third chapter, operators which are the generalization of the Lupaş operators are introduced and some approximation properties of these operators are investigated with the help of both Bohman-Korovkin theorem and weighted Korovkin type theorem. Furthermore, rates of approximation of these operators are obtained by using weighted modulus of continuity. In the fourth chapter, some approximation properties of operators which are the Kantorovich type of generalization of operators are examined by using Bohman-Korovkin theorem. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the rates of approximation of these operators are obtained by means of modulus of continuity, the elements of local Lipschitz class , modulus of continuity of derivative and Peetre?s K functional.
