Abstract (EN)
In this study, the isolated populastions of Lyciasalamandra atifi (Basoglu, 1967) which is an endemic Lycian salamander to our country and showing a distribution range from Antalya/Selge (Altınkaya) to Antalya/Gazipaşa were compared. Accordingly, eight isolated populations (Fersin, Selge, Dikmen, Güzelbağ, Türbelinaz, Gündoğmuş, Cebireis Mountain, Gazipaşa) were found that belongs to the species and by using morphology, serology, statistics techniques, all of these populations's were determinated significantly different. Along with the specimens collected and registered under ZMHRU museum before the present thesis study, totally 237 (59♂♂, 96♀♀, 82 juv.) were studied. As a result of our survey, we decided that the each of eight isolated populastions studied could be represent distinctly different taxon (subspecies) in both morphological and serological differences. According to Zoological Code (ICZN), since this work is a master thesis we do not give any names to these taxa at now, however it will be done when the results published in an any international journal.
