In the ancient period, parallel to the development of political life in the cities, structures were built in which city councils gathered and discussed and sometimes enacted laws. In addition to being a very important building type, parliament buildings also contain a lot of information about the social life of cities. The aim of the thesis study is to provide information about the structures of the ancient cities in the Lycian region. In many antique cities, because of the absence of a parliament building and perhaps the use of theater structures, the theaters has been mentioned in detail in the study as well. The study consists 4 parts. In the first chapter, detailed information is given about the geographical and historical development of the Lycian region. In the second chapter, the administrative forms in ancient Greece and Rome are explained in detail. As a result of this, there are third parts mentioned in the features and functions of parliament buildings. In the fourth chapter, the main subject of the study, Lycian cities are explained in detail. After the survey of the cities, the researches and the city plans, meeting structures in the city were included.
