M.O.E Haydar Aliyev Primary School the sample of reuse of waste materials which are used in 6th - 7th grades Technology and Design Courses

The aim of this research is to review the design examples of usable waste materials according to the views of students in the Technology and design course at Haydar Aliyev Prımary School. This study is a descriptive research which is based on application model. The research haw been made up means of reviewing Literature by researcher and having the groups of students make applications of design and project examples using waste materials and also a survey as been prepared in order to obtain dates and apply on the students and if has been applied on the students. The field of study is the technology and design course for the 6 th and 7 th grades of Haydar Aliyev Primary school in 2011-2012 academic year. This is a study of total 65 students and the survey is implemented implement ted on 65 students Frequency and the percentage techniques have been used in the analysis of the dates which have been obtained in this study. In order to interpret the results of research, by means of having the frequency and percentage distributions in the analysis of datas, findings have been given in the table. Upon the assessment of the data obtained, it was seen that the idea of using waste and residual materials in designing appealed to the students in Technology and Designing classes and was readily adopted by them. They were found to have acquired awareness about recognizing and grouping waste and residual materials, choosing the right material and appropriate color for their work, learning about environmentally friendly materials, using visual materials and deciding what they could design in their work. This has effectively raised environmental awareness and brought about behavioral change.
