Abstract (EN)
Turkey is a very rich country in terms of mineral deposits diversity. Besides, the fact that Turkey is located close to very rich geography in terms of energy reserves makes it an "energy corridor". This enables our country to have a say in the energy sector and mining. In this study, the role of mining and energy resources in the Turkish economy and their effects on Turkish foreign trade are discussed. Within the framework of this purpose, this study has been completed in three sections. In the first section, the general framework of mining and energy resources, in the second section information on foreign trade, and in the third section, the effects of the mining sector and energy resources on economy and foreign trade are mentioned.
