Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to use Type-1, Type-2, Type-3, Type-4, Type-5 and Type-6 beams taken from AASHTO instead of T-section precast and composite beams of Maden Viaduct of Elazığ province. which type is appropriate to use. Depending on the geometrical properties of the type beams, the determination of the mechanical properties, the calculation of the cross-sectional properties and the number of prestressed cables were determined. At the same time, optimization of the Type-5 beam, which is determined to be used, has been optimized. The study consists of four parts. In the first chapter, the definitions of bridges and viaducts and the concepts of pre - stress and pre - stress are explained. In addition, literature studies of prestressed structures are included. Prestressed structural elements are introduced. In the second section, the general design parameters of the Mine Viaduct are given. Material properties are defined. The geometric properties of the precast and composite beams obtained from AASHTO are presented and the account reports of the section values are given. In the third section, the stress values at the lower and upper parts of the beam at certain intervals according to the stress values allowed by AASHTO were calculated with Visual Basic programming language and type selection was made. In the last section, optimizations of the Type-5 beam, which is chosen to be selected, have been made.
