Computer applications in mining and a mining production planning with a use of surpac computer program

Mining a mineral deposit is an operation which lies over a lot of years and which implies a big investment and risks. Before considering such an operation one must know the form of the ultimate surface and the tonnage to mine for having a beneficial operation. The aim of this study is to compare as a computer based open pit mine design the application of Yeniköy Lignite Enterprising Işıkdere coal deposit in Muğla Milas place by Surpac Vision Software that uses both underground mine planing and open pit mine planning in many great mines and nowadays it has proved itself in mining industry. This study includes contcuhed the geostatistical evaluation of drilling data, 3-D (three dimension) design of seam the reserve estimation creating block model, the beach design with three dimensions.
