Abstract (EN)

As MAG Welding's advantages against other welding methods, utilization of MAG Welding increases in recent industry and selection of flux cored wire types is a quite important point in MAG Welding. Weld metal composition must cover and meet mandatory and specified physical and mechanical properties as a result of accurate flux cored wire selection, protective gas, sufficient and high-class labor. Flux cored wire type effects to properties of weld bead in MAG welding were investigated in this thesis study. St 52 as structural steel, %100 CO2 as protective gas, rutile and basic flux cored wire were consumed during experimental studies. Tensile, hardness, notch, root-face bending tests were performed to establish the effects to mechanical properties of weld bead while different type flux cored wires useage on the same main material.
