Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, magnetic mesoporous silica (mag-MCM-41) material was firstly obtained by combining the synthesized magnetite (Fe3O4) particles and arranged mesoporous material (MCM-41) during synthesis. mag-MCM-41-NH2, mag-MCM-41-SH, mag-MCM-41-NN and mag-MCM-41-NN-Fe+3 materials were synthesized as a result of various modifications of the obtained material (mag-MCM-41). It was determined by FTIR, XRD and TEM analyzes that the magnetite (Fe3O4) particle structure can be synthesized in a face-centered cubic crystal system structure and in nanoparticle size with a particle size in ±15 nm. It was supported by N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, FTIR, TEM, BET and SAXS analyzes in which magnetic mesoporous silica (mag-MCM-41) material shows hexagonal properties and takes part in "mesoporous" material class with a surface area of 923 m2/g. Surface modifications of mag-MCM-41-NH2, mag-MCM-41-SH, mag-MCM-41-NN and mag-MCM-41-NN-Fe+3 materials were verified through FTIR analysis, elemental analysis and EDTA titration with Fe3+ analysis. Kinetic and adsorption isotherm studies of Ni (II), Cd (II) and Cu (II) heavy metal ions were performed using mag-MCM-41, mag-MCM-41-NH2 and mag-MCM-41-SH adsorbents; the kinetic and adsorption isotherm studies of the phosphate anion were performed using mag-MCM-41 and mag-MCM-41-NN-Fe+3 adsorbents. After adsorption, the materials could be easily removed from the solution medium with the aid of a magnet. As a result of the kinetic and adsorption isotherm studies of the phosphate anion; it has been determined that the phosphate adsorption method on mag-MCM-41, mag-MCM-41-NN and mag-MCM-41-NN-Fe+3 adsorbents was the chemical adsorption method, phosphate adsorption on all adsorbents occured in a single layer and the maximum adsorption capacity of MCM-41-NN-Fe+3 adsorbent value (q0) was higher than other adsorbents. As a result of the kinetic and adsorption isotherm studies of heavy metal ions; it has been determined that adsorption of Ni (II), Cd (II) and Cu (II) heavy metal ions on mag-MCM-41, mag-MCM-41-NH2 and mag-MCM-41-SH adsorbents is chemical adsorption, the adsorption of Ni (II), Cd (II) and Cu (II) heavy metal ions separately on all adsorbents occured in a single layer, and the adsorption of mag-MCM-41-SH adsorbent with Cd (II) ions has the highest maximum adsorption capacity (q0).
