Looking at the case of juvenile delinquency in the neighborhood sample: Example of city Elaziğ

When examining TUİK data, the concept of juvenile delinquency, which has been steadily increasing from past to present, shows that the number of children involved in crime or victims of crime has increased significantly in recent years. The concept of guilt, which comes across as a learned behavior, is put forward as a result of research conducted in which children are affected by their parents and their environment and learn about crime. In this case, since the child does not know the crime from birth, there are reasons that lead the child to the crime. In our study, these factors that cause children to commit crimes were explained by interviewing 30 parents with children between the ages of 11 and 18 with semi-structured observation technique. As a result of the interviews, it was determined that the children were innocent in essence and that the parents who raised them, their peer circle or social environment caused the child to exhibit deviant behaviors, whether knowingly or unknowingly.
