Structure and theme in the stories of Mahmut Özay

The aim of this study is Yapı Structure and Theme in Mahmut Özay's Stories; to determine which themes and structure elements are used in the stories of the author and to determine which themes are most commonly used. In the first chapter, the history and development process of the Turkish story is examined and information about this subject is given. In the second part, the author's life, art and temperament are discussed. In the third chapter, after the introduction of their stories, the works, the plot, the people, time, space, language and narration, are classified and examined in the form of perspective. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation was made. Key Words: Mahmut Özay, Story, Structure, Theme.
